A young boy and his father embark on a fishing trip where mishaps ensue—spilled worms, noise in the boat, and a hook caught in Jake’s pants. After settling down and catching several fish, Jake feels compassion for them and releases them back into the lake, worrying he has ruined the day. His father reassures him that “God gave them a good day to have fun and be together,” and they stop for fish-shaped crackers on the way home.
